The Governments of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the Republic of Singapore completed the third round of negotiations on the Pakistan-Singapore Free Trade Agreement (FTA) held from 3 to 5 May 2006 in Singapore.

Both sides had fruitful discussions and made further progress on the key issues tabled during the third round in the chapters on trade in goods, rules of origin, trade in services, investment, government procurement, customs, and the legal elements of the FTA. 

The next round of negotiations is scheduled to take place in Pakistan by July 2006.
