Datuk Seri Utama Dr Rais Yatim, Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage, Malaysia, called on Minister Dr Lee Boon Yang on Friday 20 August, 3 pm, at Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts (MICA). Malaysian High Commissioner, H.E Dato' N. Parameswaran and Senior Minister of State, Dr Balaji Sadasivan were also present at this call. This is the first official meeting between the two Ministers since Minister Dr Rais Yatim took office as the Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage.

2    The Ministers noted the on-going active exchange in arts, culture and heritage between the two countries, and discussed ways to enhance and strengthen collaboration in these areas.
