MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS PRESS STATEMENT

VISIT BY PERUVIAN FOREIGN MINISTER, ALLAN WAGNER 26-27 FEBRUARY 2003

Mr Allan Wagner, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Peru, will make an official visit to Singapore from 26 to 27 February 2003 at the invitation of Minister for Foreign Affairs, Prof S Jayakumar. He will be accompanied by senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Peru.

During his visit, Foreign Minister Wagner will meet with Minister Jayakumar. The two Foreign Ministers will also sign an Investment Guarantee Agreement between the two countries on 27 February 2003. Foreign Minister Wagner will give a business presentation, meet with senior officials from International Enterprise Singapore and the APEC Secretariat as well as visit PSA Corporation.
