VISIT OF NON-ALIGNED MOVEMENT LEADERS

TO SINGAPORE

22-27 FEBRUARY 2003

  1. The following leaders of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) will be visiting Singapore at the invitation of Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong, enroute to or from the NAM Summit, which will be held in Kuala Lumpur, from 24-25 February 2003:

(i) Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (21-22 February 2003)

(ii) Mr Abdoulaye Wade, President of the Republic of Senegal, (26-27 February 2003)

    1. Col. Azali Assoumani, President of the Union of Comoros, (26-27 February 2003)

  1. President S R Nathan will host tea receptions in honour of the visiting NAM leaders. Prime Minister Goh will meet the leaders and also host them to dinner. Speaker of Parliament Mr Abdullah Tarmugi will host them to lunch.
