VISIT TO SINGAPORE BY LI LANQING,
VICE PREMIER OF THE STATE COUNCIL OF
THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA, 27-30 MAY 2002

Mr Li Lanqing, Vice Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China will make an official visit to Singapore from 27 to 30 May at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. Mr Li will also co-chair the 6^th Suzhou Industrial Park Joint Steering Council meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Lee during the visit.

Mr Li will call on President S R Nathan, Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong and Senior Minister Lee Kuan Yew. Mr Li will also give a public address as part of Network China’s VIP Seminar Series, and visit the Agency for Science, Technology and Research and the National University of Singapore.
