RELEASE OF FIRST QUARTER 2002 ECONOMIC RESULTS IN THE ECONOMIC SURVEY OF SINGAPORE

The Ministry of Trade and Industry will be releasing the economic results of first quarter 2002 on 17 May 2002 (Friday) at 8.00 a.m. This will cover the overall performance of the economy, sectoral performances, sources of growth, inflation, employment and productivity during the first quarter of 2002.

The key findings will be released on the Internet on the MTI Homepage at http://www.mti.gov.sg and the Statistics Singapore Homepage at http://www.singstat.gov.sg
