VISIT TO THAILAND BY DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER BG (NS) LEE HSIEN LOONG, 28-30 NOVEMBER 2000
Deputy Prime Minister BG Lee Hsien Loong will visit Thailand from 28-30 November 2000 at the invitation of Bank of Thailand Governor M.R. Chatu Mongol Sonakul.
DPM Lee will deliver a speech entitled "ASEAN Post Crisis – Rebuilding Confidence and Prosperity" organised by the Bank of Thailand in conjunction with the birthday celebrations of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej. DPM Lee will also be attending the Oxford and Cambridge Annual Reunion Dinner as the guest of M.R. Chatu Mongol.
During his stay in Bangkok, DPM Lee will have a royal audience with His Majesty King Bhumibol. DPM Lee will also meet with Privy Council President and Statesman General Prem Tinsulanonda, Prime Minister Chuan Leekpai and Minister to the Prime Minister’s Office Abhisit Vejjajiva.
