The South African Minister for Public Enterprises, Jeffrey Radebe, will be leading a 3-member senior delegation to Singapore to study Singapore’s experience in restructuring and privatisation, in particular, the PSA. Minister Radebe is accompanied by Mr Sivi Gounden, Director-General, Public Enterprises, Mr Siyabonga Gama, CEO, Ports Authority and Mr Tau Morwe, CEO, Ports Operations.

While in Singapore, Minister Radebe will meet Mr Richard Hu, Minister for Finance, Mr Mah Bow Tan, Minister for National Development and Mr Yeo Cheow Tong, Minister for Communications and Information Technology. In addition to a delegation meeting at the Maritime and Port Authority (MPA), the delegation will also tour the PSA ports and visit CAAS, SIA, SMRT, SingTel, Singapore Power and Singapore Technologies Pte Ltd.
