The Crown Prince of Bahrain, His Highness Shaikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, will be in Singapore for an official visit from 27 to 29 March 2000. This will be His Highness Shaikh Salman’s first official visit to Singapore.

His Highness Shaikh Salman will call on President S R Nathan, and also meet with Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong, Senior Minister Lee Kuan Yew, Deputy Prime Minister, Dr Tony Tan and Minister for Trade and Industry, BG (NS) George Yeo. His Highness Shaikh Salman will be hosted to a dinner in his honour by President S R Nathan, and to a lunch by Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong.

During his visit to Singapore, His Highness Shaikh Salman will meet with other senior government officials and business leaders, and also visit the Economic Development Board and the Trade Development Board.
