The Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Mr Mohammad Nawaz Sharif, will make an official visit to Singapore from 13 to 15 May 1999. He will be accompanied by his wife, Mrs Kulsoom Nawaz Sharif, Ministers, senior officials and businessmen.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will meet Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong on 13 May 1999 to discuss bilateral and regional issues. This will be followed by a meeting with Senior Minister Lee Kuan Yew on the same day. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will call on President Ong Teng Cheong the following day. He will also attend a dinner hosted by Prime Minister Goh.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will visit the Housing Development Board and deliver a keynote address at a conference on business opportunities in Pakistan.
