STOPOVER VISIT OF IRISH PRESIDENT MARY MCALEESE
TO SINGAPORE, 29 - 31 AUGUST 1998
President Mary McAleese of Ireland will make a stopover visit to Singapore from 29 to 31 August 1998.
This is President McAleese’s first visit to Singapore since her election as President in November 1997. She will be accompanied by her husband, Dr Martin McAleese; Minister for the Environment and Local Government, Mr Noel Dempsey, the Ambassador of Ireland to Singapore, Mr James Flavin and senior Irish officials.
President Ong will meet President McAleese and her delegation and host them to lunch on 30 August 1998.
