OFFICIAL VISIT TO ITALY AND THE VATICAN BY
BG (NS) GEORGE YONG BOON YEO,
MINISTER FOR INFORMATION AND THE ARTS AND
SECOND MINISTER FOR TRADE AND INDUSTRY,
3 TO 13 SEPTEMBER 1997
BG (NS) George Yeo, Minister for Information and the Arts and Second Minister for Trade and Industry, will be visiting Italy and the Vatican from 3 to 13 September 1997. The visit aims to promote closer political, economic and cultural ties with Italy and the Vatican.
Minister George Yeo will participate in the Workshop on "Today and Tomorrow: Outlook for Corporate Strategies" held in Villa d’Este, Cernobbio. He will speak on "Today’s key issues and priorities: Asia – World" and "Asia: its political, economic and social significance for the rest of the world". He will also meet with the Italian industry leaders.
