MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS PRESS STATEMENT

The High Commissioner for the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Mr Toheed Ahmad; the Ambassador of the Union of Myanmar, U Myo Myint and the Ambassador of Guatemala, Mr Fernando Gonzalez Davison, presented their Credentials to President Ong Teng Cheong at Command House today.

High Commissioner Toheed Ahmad, who is resident in Singapore, succeeds Mr Salim Nawaz Khan Gandapur, who left on 29 February 1996.

Ambassador Myo Myint, who is resident in Singapore, suceeds U Kyaw Myint, who left on 11 March 1997.

Ambassador Fernando Gonzalez Davison, who is resident in Tokyo, is the first Guatemalan Ambassador to be accredited to Singapore.
