MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS PRESS STATEMENT

The Ambassador of the Republic of Italy, Mr Giuseppe Marchini Camia, and the Ambassador of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Mr Addis-Alem Balema, presented their Credentials to President Ong Teng Cheong at the Command House today.

Ambassador Marchini Camia succeeds Dr Enrico Augelli, who passed away in April 1996 after a long illness. Ambassador Balema, who is resident in Beijing, succeeds Mr Desta Erifo Anore. The curricula vitae of Ambassador Marchini Camia and Ambassador Balema are enclosed.
