Synopsis :Emeritus Senior Minister, Goh Chok Tong, was walked through the library, a tour of the Marine Parade Public Library (overview of MPPL, booths and SMP exhibition on Memories of Marine Parade. Followed by a welcome remarks by Chairman, NLB, Ms Yeoh Chee Yan. There was a drama performance by the CHIJ Katong Primary School students. Remarks by people who have grown up with the library, followed by a speech by Guest-of-honour, Emeritus Senior Minister, Goh Chok Tong and finally a cake-cutting and reception.
