Synopsis :

The Gods of Fortune, Prosperity and Longevity are deities that confer joy and luck to mankind. Extremely generous and compassionate, they enjoy immense popularity on earth. This plants seeds of jealousy in the God of Wealth and the Kitchen God, who speak ill of them before the Jade Emperor. The Jade Emperor banishes the trio to earth to become mortal beings. Ironically, the God of Fortune (Christopher Lee) is transformed into a poor commoner who struggles to make ends meet. On the other hand, the God of Prosperity (Zhang Shi) is destined to fail in his career while the God of Longevity (Bobby Ouyang) suffers a life plagued by illness. To protect the three gods, a fairy, Ma Gu (Fann Wong), descends to earth. She transforms into an Inspector and proves to be their savior in many dangerous encounters. Meanwhile, the Deity of Plague spreads disease over the land and conspires with two she-devils to unleash war and death on mankind. How do the three gods salvage the world without their celestial powers? Can they overcome their mortal desires and what will become of their budding romances with the ladies in their lives?
