Synopsis :Everyday Heroes aims to shed light on people in Singapore who despite their personal difficulties, have managed to rise above their problems, and help others or contribute back to society in some way. Their inspirational stories show that it is possible to look at life from a positive standpoint no matter how trying the situation may be.
In the very first episode of Everyday Heroes, we feature 40 year-old rag-and-bone woman Yvonne Goh. After a near-death experience, Yvonne's outlook on life changed. She realized that there were many groups of people in Singapore who needed assistance and she set her mind to helping them. While she doesn't make a lot of money, a large portion of her income goes to supporting her charity work which includes providing food for the elderly poor and foreign workers.
