Synopsis :

This programme features an "Earth Day Special" and includes a forum via a satellite link-up, between young environmentalists in Indonesia and Germany and a panel of four experts, on the world's interest on environmental problems that confront the earth. The experts include:

1. Professor David Bellamy, a world-renowned botanist and conservationist.

2. Professor Tommy Koh, Singapore's Ambassador-at-large and Chairman of the Preparatory Committee for the United Nations Conference on the Environment and Development 1992 (UNCED).

3. M. S. Kismadi, Special Assistant for Foreign Relations to the State Minister for Population and the Environment, Indonesia.

4. Bo Kjellen, Ambassador from Sweden and Chairman of Working Group I for UNCED.
