Synopsis :This recording features a selection of Music from Singapore in the 1990/1991 ASEAN Exchange of Radio Programmes series. Featured is an English song ' Misty Memory' about one man's memories of a lost love through death. It is written by Jai and Rafael Oei. Another song by Rafael Oei 'Pictures' revolves around uncertain love and is performed by Jai. A Malay vocal number 'Kelapa' about a coconut tree and two Tamil songs are included in the selection. The first describes how 25 years of independence has brought success to Singapore and the other is about a brainy young girl. The programme also features a Chinese instrumental 'A Clear River' about a wonderful evening by the Singapore River.
