Synopsis :Three segments covered in this programme:
1. Preserving The Old (Boat Quay) - in 1985, 108 units of shop houses in Boat Quay were earmarked for conservation. How is the progress so far? What more can be done to encourage more owners to come forward with plans to redevelop their properties? This segment speaks to owners of properties in Boat Quay, and the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) to find out.
2. Pain-In-The-Bus - this Vox Box segment features comments from the man-in-the-street on the behaviours of bus commuters.
3. Money-Making Homes - this segment finds out how commercially-run homes for the aged are managed, the challenges that they face and whether there are plans to upgrade the facilities in the homes. It also discusses the issue of who will take care of the old folks now living in these homes if they have to be shut down.
