  • Synopsis :

    1. Singapore:  More new cases of tuberculosis (TB) were diagnosed in Singapore last year. This is the first time in 10 years that the incidence of TB has gone up.(01:30:20)

    2. Singapore: Singapore's largest community self-help group, the Chinese Development Assistance Council (CDAC), will increase its budget by nearly 10% to $23.2 million.     4. Pakistan: A top judge in Pakistan has resumed his post at the Supreme Court after a long absence. The reinstatement of Justice Iftikhar Muhammed Chaudry came after months of protests in the country. (01:35:29)

    6. Angola: The Pope's visit to Angola has been marred by a deadly stampede where two people were killed. (01:37:59)

    7. Singapore: Bukit Panjang will be one of the few places in Singapore to kick off the Neighbourhood Renewal Programme.     15. Sports Tonight: Sir Alex Ferguson has admitted the Premier League title race is back on after his Manchester United side fell to a second successive defeat. Fulham beat Manchester United 2-0. Tottenham Hotspur beat Chelsea 1-0. (01:51:56)

    16. Sports Tonight: In the S-League, Woodlands Wellington beat Singapore Armed Forces  Football Club (SAFFC) 3-2. (01:53:03)

    17. Sports Tonight: Andy Murray took advantage of an error-prone Roger Federer to reach the final, commanding a 6-3, 4-6, 6-1 victory at the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) tournament at Indian Wells. Rafael Nadal is also into the final. (01:53:19)

    18. Sports Tonight: Some 900 triathletes from around the world took part in the Aviva Ironman 70.3 Singapore Triathlon at East Coast Park. Australian Craig Alexander finished first.
