  • Synopsis :

This is the final programme in the series 'Kotak Pos' before RSI ceased transmission on 1 August 2008. It features readings of letters  and emails from RSI's listeners in Malaysia and Indonesia who tell us what they like about the station and why they will miss listening to its programmes. We also hear about special programmes produced by staff from the Malay and Indonesian services that will be broadcast on the last four days of RSI's transmission from 28 to 31 July 2008. Illydea Ishak, a former RSI producer recalls her first day in RSI when she was confronted with a console which had many buttons. She describes how she learnt the different aspects of radio production from her colleagues, the various programmes she produced and fond memories of  her stint at the station. We also hear a poem about RSI written by a listener, an interview with a listener who lives in Padang, Indonesia and several songs linking the spoken word segments together.
