    1. Singapore: Singapore's Manpower Ministry said that amid economic uncertainties, the country's jobless rate rose to 2.3% in the second quarter compared to 2% in the first three months of this year.     4. Malaysia: Wan Azizah Wan Ismail has quit her position as Member of Parliament. The Keadilan leader, who is also the wife of opposition figure Anwar Ibrahim, said she quit to make way for Mr Anwar to contest in a by-election.(01:42:47)
