Synopsis :

Yi Sum tells Ho Sao Kun that she needs his help, and that he will be paid for his trouble. She wants him to put pressure on Bak Ji Yeen to pay up for the taxes so that when she arrives with an offer of marriage and a $5000 dowry, he will not be able to refuse. She will then advise Ji Yeen to give $3000 to him to settle the tax matter. Sao Kun agrees to be involved. An official arrives at Ji Yeen’s house with an order to go to the village office. There, Sao Kun pressures Ji Yeen to pay the taxes immediately or he will be jailed. Ji Yeen asks for time but is given only two weeks. Back at home, Ji Yeen tells his daughter of the latest development.
