Synopsis :The first Singapore Grand Prix post independence takes place from 9 - 11 April 1966. The event no longer comes under the purview of the Ministry of Culture but the Ministry of Social Affairs under Othman Wok and his team led by Goh Teck Phuan. The colour footage covers most of the key races, from Motorcycles to Sports and GT cars, Saloon and Tourers and finally to the Grand Prix for Racing Cars.
