Synopsis :1. Singapore: Ministry of Health warned that Singapore is facing a potential Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) epidemic. The ministry is looking towards experience with Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) to tackle the problem. This may include contact tracing and compulsory testing for Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) that causes AIDS. (00:03:03)
2. Singapore: Nine people are picked as Nominated Members of Parliament (NMPs) and will replace the current group from January next year. Eunice Olsen is the youngest member to become a NMP at the age of 27. (00:05:18)
