    1.  Thailand: Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra apologized for the deaths of 78 Muslim detainees during a police crackdown in Thailand's restive south. He admitted to parliament that there were some mistakes and the detainees should not have died.  (00:03:22)
