1.  Singapore: The Singapore economy grew a lower-than-expected 1.5% in the first quarter. The services sector is badly hit and the situation could worsen due to the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) outbreak. 2.  Singapore: Some companies have taken initiatives to provide financial help for workers. Comfort Taxi will give a $10 daily rental rebate.
