  • Synopsis :

    Footage of television presenter bidding farewell to the Turf Club at Bukit Timah; ladies at counters collecting money as a machine dispenses betting slips; dividends shown on a television screen; people in the grandstand boxes watching races and cheering; bagpipe band plays in the square in front of the grandstand; television screens follow Dr Wee Kim Wee as he attends a cocktail reception in one of the grandstand boxes; people in the grandstand boxes studying racing guides and placing bets.
