Synopsis :

It is revealed that Scholar Gam, whom Ngan Sam Man knows, is actually Bak Yuk Tong. Ngan tells Bak that in order to protect Gam Xim's reputation and integrity, he confesses to a crime he did not commit. Bak sends Ngan’s servant boy, Yu Ma, to Hoi Fong to appeal in Bao Zheng’s court. After hearing Yu Ma’s account, he summons Gam Xim’s parents and Ngan to court, issuing a warrant of arrest for Fong Guan Han. Bao is sure that Ngan is not the murderer as Ngan is unable to recount the events of that night. Fong confesses to his crimes subsequently and is sentenced to death by guillotine. Bao then orders Gam Xim’s parents to marry her to Ngan.
