Synopsis :After Lin has been sentenced to death for a minor offence, his wife approaches the executioner, Quan, who happens to be her cousin, for help. Quan instructs Lin what to do on the day of execution. Following Quan's instruction, Lin's spirit leaves the body just before he is beheaded. Without knowing that his life has ended, Lin's spirit arrives at another province and continues to live like a human being. A few years later, Lin's spirit returns to his hometown. Only then, he learns everything from his wife. Later, Lin's spirit manages to borrow a corpse and returns to life.
