Synopsis :ZhuGe Liang successfully taunts Zhao Yun and Wei Yan into making great effort to enter the camp of Jinhua Sanjie. General Sanjie is beheaded. At the same time, he sends other forces under Wang Ping and Ma Zheng to support Zhao Yun and Wei Yan, and force Dongtu Na and Ahui Nan to flee. Knowing the two of the Ravine Chiefs would escape along the smaller roads, he sets Zhang Ni and Zhang Yi to lie in wait and capture them. He later releases them. Meng Huo is informed that the three chiefs have been defeated. He leads his army to attack the Shu. The two armies meet, and a battle ensues. Meng Huo is captured and brought before Zhuge Liang. His followers are all released. Meng Huo refuses to submit when brought before Zhuge Liang. Zhuge Liang releases him nonetheless. Meng Huo goes back and plans another attack.
