Synopsis :

After much consideration, Zhuge Liang decides that Deng Zhi is the right person to be Chair of the Census Board. Meanwhile, Sun Quan receives an envoy from Wei, who conveys a request to Wu for their assistance in attacking Shu. If Wu is willing to assists, Wei and Wu will share the conquered Shu territory. Sun Quan listens and consults Lu Xun on the matter. Lu Xun advises that Cao Pi is too firmly established and to refuse the offer may provoke his enmity. If Shu seems likely to fall and Zhuge Liang is outwitted, then their army can be dispatched to take the Capital, Chengdu. Meanwhile, Deng Zhi arrives and manages to convince Sun Quan to partner and work with Shu against Wei. Sun Quan also sends Zhang Wen to Shu to negotiate a league of peace. Thereafter, Wu and Shu enjoy good relations.
