Synopsis :The mountain Wudang or Wudangshan is located in the province of Hubei. It is famous for Chinese Taoism, wushu and its appealing natural landscapes. The palaces and temples in Wudang exemplify the architectural and artistic achievements of China's Ming dynasty. Noted palaces and temples include the Zixiao Gong, the Nanyan Gong, the Taihe Gong and the Jindian. The Zixiao Gong was first built in the Yongle reign of the Ming dynasty. Various sculptures and Taoist items found in the palaces and temples are of high cultural and artistic value.
