Synopsis :While Yikao is pleading with the King to release his father, Daji appears. Knowing that the handsome young Yikao is a master guqin player, Daji advises the King to have him play. Yikao's skill in playing the guqin wins the praise of the King. Later, Daji requests the King to permit Yikao to teach her play the guqin. Actually, Daji lusts after Yikao and she tries to seduce him during the first lesson that evening after the King is drunk. However, Daji's attempts to seduce him end in failure. She eventually gives up and returns to the King with hatred in her eyes.
