Synopsis :

Wah Yoke Hon works for the police department and he learns, while visiting his mother, that the son of his nanny, Yeung Hung Lee, has died four days ago at his employer, Pok See Fun's ranch and her daughter, Yeung Mei Poh is suffering from mental disorder. The aunt of Pok, Mrs See and her daughter, See Mei Lee who is terribly ill has also moved here. Yeung Mei Poh was engaged to keep See Mei Lee company and to take care of a cat. The cat was killed by a neighbouring dog and unable to accept the death of her beloved cat, See Mei Lee too passed away. Another black cat was adopted by Mrs See and is affectionately named Ms Mei Lee. After the death of Mrs See, $50000 is set aside from her inheritance to tend to the cat. The town's mayor, Tai Wai Lun pays Wah a visit for a discussion on the recent happenings and reveals that if the cat dies of natural death, Pok and Yeung will each receive half of the $50000. But should the cat die of negligence, all the money will be donated to charity. Wah pays Yeung a visit at the hospital and witnesses her going berserk when she hears a dog barking.
