Synopsis :This recording starts off with a few Malay songs followed by a commentary on the opening ceremony of the Seventh South East Asia Peninsula (SEAP) Games. It includes a brief history of the Games and some highlights of its' previous edition.
The commentator also gives a detailed description of the proceedings of the ceremony.
Mr E. W. Barker, Minister for Law and National Development, and Chairman of the organizing committee led the welcome of the foreign delegates. He also speaks of the importance of the Games in improving communication among the South East Asian countries.
