  • Synopsis :

Federation's acting Minister of Transport, V. Manickavasagam flies down to Singapore for a day to tour MSA facilities.
He tells the press it is a familiarisation tour as he has recently taken over the portfolio of transport for the Federation. He has discussions with MSA's Managing Director, David Craig and also meets MSA's divisional directors.

He then touches on the investigation into corrupt officials in MSA by the Singapore Government, adding that the Federation will agree with Singapore in handling the corrupt officials when they are identified. He then takes questions from the press. One question is what action would the Central Government take should the investigation of corrupt officials be extended to the Federation.

The press conference is held at MSA Building, Robinson Road.
