Synopsis :This tape consists of two speeches by the Citizens' Consultative Committee's Chairman, Lee Chuen Yan, and its Advisor, Ong Su Chua, in Teochew and Hokkien respectively. They spoke on the responsibilities of citizenship, the importance of the citizens' cooperation with the government and the significance of having such Committees in ensuring Singapore's survival as an independent and multi-cultural country.
