Synopsis :Recording contains Party Political Talks by the Alliance Party for the 1964 Malaysia General Election. The speaker is Dato V.T. Sambanthan from MIC, one partner in the Alliance Party. He says the development achieved in Malaya over the past five years is for one central purpose, the 'overall upliftment - economic, social, education and religious' - of all the people in the nation. He adds there are few countries in Asia as stable as Malaya, and that is possible because of the 'far-sighted and intelligent leadership achieved under the Alliance'. The people can entrust the leadership of the Tunku and the success of the Alliance to face up to President Sukarno and carry Malaysia to peace and prosperity'. Recording broadcast over Radio Channel I (English) is recorded from Studio in Kuala Lumpur.
