    This is a recording of a Malaysia Day Message 1964 delivered by Malaysia Prime Minister Tunku Abdul Rahman on the first anniversary of Malaysia. In his speech,  Tunku Abdul Rahman touches on:
    1) Why Malaysia Day is celebrated on 31 August instead of 15 September;
    2) The tone-down celebration as funds have to be diverted to fight against Indonesian Confrontation;
    3) The failure of Indonesian Confrontation to shake Malaysia's confidence;
    4) A call to the people of Malaysia to be prepared, vigilant and ready for all eventualities.;
    5) The achievements of Malaysia over the year;
    6) A call to Malaysians to re-affirm their patriotism to the country.
