    1) PM Lee Kuan Yew's speech at a dinner held in honour of British prime Minister Mrs Margaret Thatcher:
    - The first meeting between PM Lee and PM Mrs Thatcher in London;

    - How the British government had helped to soften the blows of the withdrawal of British forces from Singapore in 1968, and the security assistance rendered to Singapore;
    -  What Singapore have adopted or benefitted from the past British administration and why she avoided the welfare state system.
