This is a recording of a talk given by Mr R. Ibison, a shipbuilder, to members of the Rotary Club on the history of the Sembawang Shipyard (Pte) Ltd. He gives an account of the developments, over the past 17 months, since Messrs Swan Hunter was appointed the managing-agent (designate) of a new company to be called Sembawang Shipyard (Pte) Ltd and the progress made in the commercialisation of the Royal Navy dockyard at Sembawang.
