Synopsis :Tape consists of 3 speeches delivered at the presentation of membership certificate to the Singapore Boy Scouts Association for entry into the World Scout World Conference. It was received by the Yang-di Pertuan Negara of Singapore, President Yusof Ishak, who was also the Chief Scout of Singapore. The President spoke on the duties of scouts and their role in nation-building. Earlier, the Association�s Chief Commissioner, M. J. Chandy, and the Chairman of the Conference�s Far East Bureau, Sir Antonio Delgado, spoke on the developments of the Association and the responsibilities of scouts respectively.
