Synopsis :This is a recording of Minister for Finance Lim Kim San's address at the Singapore Polytechnic Graduation Ceremony, 1966.
A presentation of certificates and diplomas to the graduands precedes the Minister's address.
In his address, Mr Lim Kim San touches on:
- The progress made by the Singapore Polytechnic since 1956;
- The award of degrees by the Singapore Polytechnic and the Singapore University from 1967 for the disciplines of Engineering, Architecture and Accountancy;
- His message to the graduands: 'Think not what you can get out of the community but what you can give to the community.'
