Tay Eng Guan, Chairman Citizens' Consultative Committee and Central Goodwill Committee; he explains meeting helps Committees to review present position in Singapore and Malaya and its scope and determination to spread goodwill and understanding among residents of Siglap; he emphasises people of Singapore are wiser after the 2 racial disturbances in 1964, and no other way but to live in peace, practise undertstanding and tolerance.
