Synopsis :

This programme consists of a report on the opening of Queenstown Polyclinic by Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew, followed by a commentary tracing the development of clinics. Both the Minister for Health K.M. Byrne and a grassroots leader spoke on the benefits and convenience of the polyclinic. Two residents said they were glad that they did not have to go to the distant Singapore General Hospital for medical treatment.
