Synopsis :This is the first part of a live recording of the 'Top Ten Local Drama Theme Songs Awards' (十大新广连续剧歌曲颁奖礼) at the Kallang Theatre. It starts with a song medley of the top 20 drama theme songs performed by a group of dancers, after which the first six of the top 10 drama theme songs are formally announced. The nominees are:
1. 'Qing Gan Lian Luo Zhan (情感联络站)' from The Coffee Shop (咖啡乌) - Eric Moo (巫启贤)
2. 'Hong Tou Jin (红头巾)' from Hong Tou Jing (红头巾) - Sarah Chen (陈淑桦)
3. 'Wo Ceng You Ge Meng Xiang (我曾有个梦想)' from The Five Foot Way (五脚基) - Wu Jia Ming (吴佳明)
4. 'Qing Lu Liang Xin Qian (情路两心牵)' from The Bond (天涯同命鸟) - Yang Yan Qing (楊艷清)
5. 'Yu Guo Tian Qing (雨过天晴)' from Sunshine After Rain (雨过天晴) - Wang Yu Qing (王玉青)
6. 'Xiao Ren Wu De Xin Sheng (小人物的心声)' from Neighbours (芝麻绿豆) - Wu Jia Ming (吴佳明)
The programme also features a short skit by all the actors in 'Neighbours' (芝麻绿豆), as well as short extracts from the nominated dramas.
