Synopsis :

This programme is a documentary on the construction industry in Singapore. It features the life and working routine of the construction workers, as well as the responsibilities of the supervisor of the construction project. It also discusses the difficulties faced by the employers due to high fluidity of the workforce, leading to a constant lack of skilled workers and decrease in the quality of workers’ attitudes. The programme discusses various types of workers categorised by their nationalities and the solutions that can be taken to upgrade the productivity and welfare of these workers. Commentaries from construction professionals are also featured in regards to their opinions on how to overcome such problems and tackle increasing foreign competition.
