Synopsis :The old man invites them in after Sanzang tells him that his disciples, though ugly, are all devout Buddhists. Late that night, the bandits come to the farm. The old man allows them in because his son is among them. He later asks the pilgrims to leave quietly through the back gate as the bandits want to murder them. The bandits later chase and catch up with them. While fighting, Sun not only kills the old man's son but also slices off his head. Sanzang is so horrified that he sends Sun away. Unable to change his master's mind, Sun goes to see Guanyin.
